"A golden rule: to leave an incomplete image of oneself." -- Emile Cioran
I'm poet, journalist extraordinaire and philosopher proper. I possess the absurd tendencies of Albert Camus, the despairing qualities of E.M. Cioran, the humorous faculties of David Hume, the dangerous properties of le Marquis de Sade and the smug-gitness of Plato.
As for art, I mostly like noir, dystopic, grotesque, satirically kitsch, surreal, fantastical and/or the philosophically clichéd, in a sardonic way. My favourite artists, painters & writers, would include Zdzislaw Beksinski, Otto Dix, Jack Martin, Salvador Dalí, H.R. Giger, Pierre Klossowski, Emil Cioran, The Marquis de Sade, Jan Fortune-Wood, William Shakespeare, H.P. Lovecraft, Carol Ann Duffy, Sylvia Plath, Edgar Allan Poe, Dante Alighieri, William Blake, Christopher Marlowe, Boyd Rice and Lupen Crook.
